It's a new year and a new phase in my life. Yet another new journey. Making new friends and a whole new environment to adapt to. This time I bade farewell to my most beloved secondary school, Temasek Secondary. Starting my life as a Meridian Jc student, I find myself struggling with the emotional roller coaster I have been experiencing since the first day of school. So many things happened in such a short span of time. All these prominent changes isn't helping, and I am still here, the same old me. But the world around me is changing, slowly leaving me behind. I tried to chase, to grab hold of that tiny happiness that I once had, but it's just too far out of reach.

I am going to learn to let go once more. It's a slow and painful process, but I will bear. Not only for my sake, but for those that I cared for. Thanks for accompanying me these past 4 years, I had fun. I fell down once too many, but you guys picked me up from the ground and we laughed it off. We laughed, we cried, we argued. From now on, we are going to walk our separate paths, doing different things and no more hanging out like before. Thank you amelia and kaymin for seeing me past the 4 years. I didn't regret having you guys as friends.

I will just survive my 2 years of Jc life and creating memories that will last me a lifetime.

When you first step into 'With a Pinch of Salt by Kyra', it just felt like you were in a little girl's dream. Situated at 297 Tanjong Katong Raod, it stands out with its whimsical child like design. Having a slogan like ' It's only a cafe, don't take it so seriously... ', you could see where this cafe is headed to. I was so awed by the interior design. It was like a page straight out of a fairytale. That's how I felt at that time. The baby blue and pink walls are decorated with adorable pictures and photos.

If you are looking for Western food that will be a bang for your bucks, be sure to head there. Nothing in the menu cost more than $18.90 ( excluding beers and wines), and with cheeky names like ' In the Farm Yard' and ' Sweet Little Piggy Onions', you would be spoiled for choice. They offer a range of appetizer, mains , pastas, risottos, deserts and floats. NO GST & SERVICE CHARGE so what you get on the menu is what you are going to pay! The mains are priced from $8.90 onwards and simply top up $3.50 to enjoy a soup of the day/ salad, a drink and dessert of the day. Even students like me are able to afford to dine there !
For tonight's dinner, I had 'Porky Goes Banana' , $5.90, which is banana wrapped with bacon (: The sweet banana mixed with the salty bacon might seem like a weird combination, but it tasted heavenly ! As for the main course, I had sausage and bacon baked rice, $8,90. Let me warn you, the portion is ginormous ! I was so bloated when I was only 3/4 way through ! The tangy tomato rice with a layer of cheese on top is definitely a force to be reckoned with. I took pictures of the food that I have ordered, but for some reason, my lappy could not detect my phone, so I guess I can't upload them :(

This cafe is definitely a hidden gem and I would be sure to be back there to dine again !

Finally ! I can feel the keyboard beneath my fingers ! It's been a while since I actually used the computer, I miss you :3 Now for updates on the week :

Evening Under The Stars (22 July Friday)

As usual, I got 'forced' into a dress since both Kay and Ame are wearing that ! I abhor dresses ! I wore the black, flowy, pregnant lady rope dress... It would be way better if it's body con but, nooo, it had to be flowy! Me and my horrible taste ! I shouldn't have bought it in the first place... It really made me look like I was pregnant ! ): We were late and had no choice but to cab to school because :
Firstly, school ended late, at around 5p.m? Due to some E Maths Mock test and the marking of it by ourselves ! Can you imagine ?! We had to reach there by 7 p.m ! Do they expect us to teleport back home and back again ?! 2 hours isn't enough for the transportation and preparation time ! >:o
Secondly, I kind of dragged Kay and Ame into accompanying me to buy this pair of purple coloured shades from Elitrend ! So you know... :3 It's cute alright ! I would upload a picture of it soon ! I hope :x
We had to sit on the floor to watch the whole concert since the chairs were only for parents and teachers etc. Clifford and gang joined us for the concert and to say the truth I had a blast, except for the dress part... :( There were skits by teachers, students, song and dance performances, poem recitals.... Songs like Breakeven by The Script, Carlifonia King Bed by Rihanna, Billonaire by Bruno Mars were sang out of the many songs >.<
So when the evening ended, Ame, Kay, Clifford, Chris, Javier and I went to Bedok 85 to have some late night supper. All of us ended up eating BCM ( ba cho mee? ) except for Clifford who only bought sugar cane drink ! He kept insisting he was bloated and couldn't eat anymore... Oh, we met ChuYuan on the bus too, he was headed to the same place as us....
So that marks the end of Friday night ! hahahahaha :D

Kay told me that Vevek ( from our Sec 3 science tuition) has a crush on me... Omg !An Aries guy !

Had my first taste of TMS's night study ! It was supposed to start at 6.30p.m but I was late for like approximately 25 minutes :3 Night study was compulsory for some students and they would end up in the classrooms. But those who chose to go to the night student voluntarily was to be in the canteen. So I ended up being one of those canteen people (: I can say that this programme actually works for me ! I ended up completing my chemistry worksheet and 2 A-Maths questions on Trigonometry and also even had a consultation session with Mr Mubarak for Physic SPA ( it cleared some of my doubts but not all x.x ). You could say that I could have done more if I had really concentrated for the whole 2 hours... I would try to achieve that in Tuesday's Night Study Programme ! Amelia's dad fetched me home ~

I SCREWED UP MY 'O' LEVEL CHEMISTRY SPA ! You heard that right, I totally messed it up... I could just kiss goodbye to 5% of my Chemistry 'O' Level ! Why must they choose to test us with Copper (II) Oxide and Carbon powder ?! WHY ? I had been feeling very dejected these past few days because of that... You know what's my mistake ? I wrote on the exam piece that it was copper (II) oxide which is the residue and not Carbon powder ! Argh ! I can proudly say that the format and everything was right... But I got the concept wrong, so I guess everything would be marked down, which means that I would get a 0 for my SPA skill 3 ! Unless there is such a thing called ECF ( error carry forward ) in SPA which I doubt they have... :'( I am a goner !
Through this incident, I got a wake up call ! It's time for me to buck up and switch to scholar mode. Study, study and more study ! I must obtained my desired result for Chemistry and the rest of my other subjects ! :( Suffer for only the next few months ! After 'O's, I am going to party all day till I drop ! Party rockers in the house tonight, everybody just have a good time ~

YAY ! I just completed my ICT and now I am allowed to use the school's computer to do anything that I want :) I scored a total of 42/42, so it's full marks for me ! Nothing to brag about LOL :P It's actually quite entertaining, the ICT 'test' sort of thing hahahaha :D

2 hours and 23 minutes more before I would be sitting for my 'O' Level Chemistry SPA ! ShitJing is peeking at what I am typing ! Shoo, go away ~ >.< Okay, I am going to revise what I have memorised for my Chemistry SPA now ! Ganbatte Alicia ! <3

Recently, I have been dozing off in lesson time :( I tried staying awake during Mazna's English class today, I really did try but the eyes... They kept closing, I was really really exhausted at that point in time. I am still feeling enervated now but I can't go to bed yet since I have to study for my 'O' Level Chemistry SPA : Skill 3 ! I have to memorize the format and the template to be prepared for it ! I need it badly to help me pull up my overall 'O' Level Chemistry's score. I am hoping to achieve at least an A2 for it ! :'( God Bless Me Please !

Oh crap ! I have to send in the Lead Character closure form to Mr Wong now, if not it would be endless pestering from him... Which I so do not want !

Wish me luck for my Chemistry SPA ! Amen !

Phew ! It's only the second day of the week and I am already so busy... :(

I didn't have the time to touch my lappy last night since I was only back home at 8+ p.m and both my parents were already at home. I got reprimanded for coming home late as usual x.x I spent most of my afternoon at Amelia's house cooking up a feast >.< She cooked Mapo Tofu, while I was in charged of everyones' Maggie noodle and Chawamushi ( Yes! I know how to steam an egg ! ). Kay was the only obtuse, golden tofu brained falconer who was slacking away at the computer. Both Amelia and I were slaving away in the kitchen, burning our fingers and getting all oily... There was this show on KBS channel, '2 days 1 night', a Korea Variety show, so we were digging into our meal and watching the Tv and having our ends split :P It was just hilarious ! The Korean stars had to play this group hugging game which would decide who was allowed to sleep in the tent hahaha :D It was just so entertaining that I didn't want to leave after the show, but Kay was kind of in a rush x.x I ended up,taking bus 3 with Joe from Pasir Ris Interchange to Tampines Interchange and it took nearly 45 minutes ! :o That explains why I was home late... Joe was leaning on me throughout the trip and at that moment, there was only one word that could describe how I felt : weird. I am dumbfounded !

I made a new friend today ~ Jervis ! Alex wanted to give him a belated birthday present so he dragged Ruidi and I to have lunch with them since you know, Jervis and Ruidi... LOL ! Joke ! That was a 'love affair' rumour started by Alex, expected yea? :P I felt so young when I am with them ! Even though they are only secondary 2, I looked a lot more youthful compared to them ! Nyahahahahaha :D We had a fattening late lunch at KFC... And after that, we went to several shops looking for Jervis's belated gift. Although I only met him today, I shared his present with Alex. I can't believe I am so kind :3 And now, I am impoverished T.T oh god, I need more moolah ! $.$ By the way, Jervis and Alex graduated from the same Primary school as me :D So technically speaking, they are my juniors :D

I am suddenly obsessed with searching for bombastic vocabularies and using them in my everyday speeches. It's an absolute way to help me to improve in my English language. Random sentence: My sister was besiege by a group of assailant. Ha !
